What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a provider only if you are completely comfortable after the screening process. Ask any question necessary to get you to that comfort level.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

After the vetting process is complete, the customer needs to ask himself or herself, "OK, can I trust this provider?" If the answer is yes, you have a deal. On the other hand, if you hesitate..........
